How do I know if a private owner is already working with another agency?

Sometimes there are owners who, in addition to having their property advertised on their own, also have it published through one or more professionals.

Whether you work exclusively or not, it is always more interesting to attract an owner who does not yet collaborate with other agencies.

Betterplace allows you to quickly identify which private listings are only published by them and which ones are already published by a real estate agency.

1) Access the file of the property

If an advertisement is or has been published more than once, you can identify it at a glance in the property information, just below the picture.

2) Check for duplicate ads

Thanks to the listing, you will be able to find out very interesting information to assess whether you are interested to acquire it:

  • If the owner has it published by himself or if he already works with other agencies.

  • If it is published with different prices to try to capture the most attractive one.

  • Price changes that he has made.

  • Active and withdrawn ads to know with whom he collaborates or has collaborated.

(💡) Check out the "History" section and see all the changes that the property has undergone over time.
