How to receive alerts about new properties listed as For Sale By Owner in your mailbox?

In order to speed up your client acquisition and keep you informed of all the latest news in the market, Betterplace allows you to receive leads of new properties for sale by owner automatically in your inbox every day.

Setting up your first alert is very easy.

1) Create an alert

From the functionalities bar on the left, select Notifications and then click on the button “New Alert”.

You have the possibility to select 3 different options to create the alert:

  • Drawing a new zone

Enter in the "Address" search engine the area where you want to create the alert and with the tool "Polygon" draw on the map a personalised area where you can start receiving alerts of all the news.

  • Using a previously saved zone

Choose one of your previously saved zones to set up an alert for it.

  • From province of municipality

Use a pre-defined zone to generate your alert at province, municipality or district level.

(💡) At any time, while using the listing function, you can directly create an alert for any area you are consulting.

2) Customize your alert

In the alert creation panel you have all kinds of filters to completely customise what news you want to be notified in your email,

It is important that you assign an "Alert name" that allows you to identify the zone and that you choose in the "Enter frequency" field whether you are interested in receiving immediate, daily or weekly alerts.

3) Receive contacts in your inbox

Start receiving alerts in your inbox of all new properties that meet the criteria you have chosen.

From the email, you can se the real estate portal where it has been published, access the advert to see the owner's contact and you can also:
  • Value the property to quickly see if it is at market price
  • Create a task to contact the owner
  • Download a catchment report to convince the owner to use your services.
  • Generate a property file to present it to a potential buyer as if it were from your own portfolio.

4) Manage your alerts

Once you have created your first alerts, from the Alerts panel you can view all the alerts you have created, modify your preferences, the frequency of the alerts or delete them.
